(oh I suppose it's nearly bedtime really)
Nor me, golden rule ABC (anything but chardonnay)
My planned shop for the morrow:
3 x echo falls merlot @ £5.49 less 25% = £12.35 (£4 in A's so PP £4.47)
3 x finest montepulciano @ £6.99 less 25% = £15.73 (£5 in A's so PP £5.97)
Fillers including parioli to make up to £40
Summary:
Echo falls £12.35
Finest £15.73
4 x parioli £2.00
Fillers £10.00
Total £40.08
Less: HH £5
Less: finest £2
Less: finest £2 (will chance my arm on the full up price of the 3 bottles and give DS some smarties on the way round to hopefully help speed us up through the checkout)
Less: parioli £2
Less: PP £10
To pay (net of PP) £19.08
Wine breakdown:
Echo £12.35
Finest £15.73
HH -£5
Finest -£2
Finest -£2
PP -£10
Total £9.08
Per bottle £1.51
Hope my maths is right, going to bed soon so will have to recheck in the morning

Instead of paying full price ( less discount ) for the montepulciano, why don't you get 3 meal deals using that wine, will be no need for fillers if you choose different items, plus you get to use 3 finest coupons ( sa willing)0 -
Where do these randome thoughts come from (or have I missed a post or two)? Is it the wine or have you been cooking up some herbal brownies;)?
Just knew you were an old hippy at heart artha.
Not just brownies but good in curry, bolegnese and probably the mse favourte at the moment bombay potatos:rotfl::rotfl:
When I joined here last year it was all about the a's tinned peas:eek:

So I will say Goodnight AllWhen The Fun Stops Stop0 -
I got my wine online delivered today. Not sampled yet but the delivery driver was very interested in why I ordered so much wine. So I gave him a crash course on the 25% off. As he was leaving he said....' did your husband get his radiator fitted ok? ' I was puzzled? .
...I hadn't noticed he was the same driver who delivered the new car radiator the other week. Good memory.....he must drop loads of useless stuff off everyday. Our cockerel was crowing whilst we chatted about wine and radiators.....so he ended up with half a dozen eggs as well......pays to keep the delivery drivers sweet:D

Funny though, I did tell my OH a while back that he was like a very comfy pair of slippersso I guess you'd be a pair of elegant designer heels
Not furniture but TM would be a pair of louboutains.
Furniture wise I am a chaise longue and fc a tiffancy lamp then TM would be a stylish Queen Anne chair as she only ever posts photos of her legs when dressed up ready to go out.
In other news just booked tickets to the Lowery exhibition at Tate this summer.
Not my style or inspiration but is a must see. Saw the Hockney last year but missed the Hirst as couldn't get tickets.
