Thanks squilliondollarbaby but i have looked and would rather stay away.

I dont want to get drawn in.

Old Elite will know i was married many moons ago to a gambler and worse so good luck to all who are winning but its not for me. :D

I do understand that and fully respect that position.

Worth consideration: different things can be compartmentalised?

For instance, I am useless over booze and often drink far more than I should. Hic! :D

Even a bit addicted to the old beer & wine, I readily admit.

Yet smoking? Never smoked a cigarette.

Drugs? Simply NOT interested and hate it.

Gambling? Love the fun of casino or bingo etc but VERY easy to walk away when I have played through the minimum to get cashback.

I like the fact I've 'won' the bout between staker & games offeror.

Never EVER tempted to go back. :D

Not all addictive personalities are addictive about everything or even more than one thing?

  • Not forgetting that the main reason is: 5000 T clubcard points can = £200 in deals.

Which is not bad as a couple of freebies when you get cashback on bingo etc

    PAINT POD

I bought one last year (not mini but full size) and was the best thing I have ever done. No mess when painting and one pod of paint did the whole of the downstairs of my 3 bed house including ceilings. I bought the extension pole for ceiling and cos it pumps the paint out I just walk up and down room methodically to do ceilings.
The parts are very cheap to replace and easy to get online (I threw away the little stick thing that goes in roller) the machine cleans itself although needs cycle doing 2 or 3 times. I take roller off and wash properly as well.
If you are decorating walls and ceilings different colours then they recommend a seperate pipe tubing for each colour.

Mse or not I consider it really worth the money. The pods use the paint sparingly although 2 coats is needed and when painting walls white I got none of the 'flashing' I have had using a hand brush or roller in the past.
Only drips if you pump too much paint which makes the roller slide accross the wall.
Only downside I had was had to replace a set of batteries in hand thing straight away but think I had bought old stock with dud batteries.
Being elite batteries are always well stocked in house so not a problem.

Thanks very much, gonna go get some paint and take the bull by the horns lol

Thanks. I've emailed One4all to ask about it.

Do B&Q sell sell gift cards? I wonder if I could use the One4all to buy one of those pre-paid visa things?
They replied quickly, and this is the response.
    Dear J,

I have checked all four cards. HMV tried to swiped each card in turn for £19.98 as the balance on the cards is only £15 the transaction was declined due to insufficient funds.

When buying goods greater than the value of your card tell the cashier before they start the transaction that you are making a part payment with 2 or more gift cards. HMV should have isolated £15 off one of the cards rung that up and then have taken the balance of the 4.98 off another card.

Stores do not have access to the balance on cards as they are processed as if they were visa cards and this is a bank line and no balances are available. Your cards are valid and working they declined as they were processed incorrectly.

I hope this helps but if you need anything else, please let me know.

    Kind regards,
I may take these instructions when trying to buy anything over £15 again.
I don't think I'd recommend buying these to anyone, especially as a gift, too complicated!

    From Jackpot 247 t&c

What is a “low risk” bet?

Unlike most casinos online, we allow 100% of your bets on roulette to count towards your wagering requirement! The only stipulation is that you don’t cover 25 or more of the 37 spots on the wheel per spin – this is called a “low risk” bet and should not be used while wagering – please see 17.1.5 of our main terms for further information.

So if you played red and black in the same spin not good.

The girl in B&Q said I needed to know the balance, luckily I hadn't spent anything off them so knew how much was on them.
Have to remember that in future, especially as have more than one card lol
