Less chance of smashing if you drop it??
(Better to use on top of the stove too, before putting into the oven.)

Cast iron is defintely better to cook long slow stews etc in. Both on the hob and esp in the oven. They spread the heat evenly.

They are pretty heavy though and I do worry a bit when I put a 3/4 full one in the fridge overnight - still I guess fridge glass is pretty strong? :D

So if the wine does go to 25% will it start after midnight or after 6 in the morning
Or is that a piece of string question?
Also if you have conditional spends do they work on the original final total before discounts?
Mind you it's only a £20 one so that won't be hard to spend :j

Was after midnight last time .... but we are talking Tesco :)

The biggest benefit is you can start your casserole on the hob. I brown the meat in it on the hob, then add veg and stock and stick it in the oven. I also use it for soup and because it's bigger than a normal pot.
    :)

Browning meat on the hob and using the same pot in the oven. Cast iron retains heat, I use heat diffuser underneath, I use Pyrex for roasting potatoes for the same reason. I prefer to use slow cooker for casseroles for convenience though.

I tried this on Sunday night but waited for it to track in case anyone lost their money. Its roulette, much more fun than bingo, but again as always dont bet unless you can afford to loose your cash.
Deposit was £20 and I had a fun evening playing/winning, but only small amounts.

Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
  • :D More than this etc :D

You know what I mean TCBers.

    Last time I went 3 x single days in 1 a/c & only 2 x tracked.

    Anybody got 3 x to track in 1 a/c?
