After a bit of advice, we have got a cottage in mountains of North Wales, cannot get broadband and we have no phone line, as its not worth paying for. We are after a dongle to take up so we can get on the internet, and also DS wants it for xbox, if this is possible. We have no idea on where to start and how much it would cost and best place to get one.

If anyone could possibly help, much appreciated.

If wi fi is not needed often but you can get it from a mobile phone it might be an idea to use an I phone or similar to create your own hotspot while you are there. It then uses your phones wifi package or you could use a payg sim and just top up wifi bundle when you are going to be staying there.
I uses a tmobile dongle when I moved house last year and it was a nightmare forever dropping out and cost a fair bit to buy.
Mobile phone might be a much better option. I only found out I could do this last month while in a hotel but saved me a fortune as my mobile data hardly gets used anyway.
