Bought a 2L bottle of Diet Irn Bru too and surprise! the 3f£3 didn't include it;). SA was very nice and said as I'd waited for a while and no one came to check even though she'd tannoyed a few times she'd just give me the deal! Wouldn't really have bothered me getting Irn Bru or Fanta, but it did show me the difference between Asda and Tesco CS. I've spent much longer times at Cs in T without any sort of apology so this was a nice change!:D
It's only a game

One for the cooks.
Duck legs @ Sbos are currently half price, £1 each (2 in the £2 pack).
I've just cooked up 8 to make confit de canard.
Recipe couldn't be simpler. Anybody want it?

At last ive got my results from the neurologist
they say my MRI scan was normal (thank god)
but my EEG results have a few sharp waves in the right superior frontal region.
it says in the letter "the neurophysiologist thought these raise the possibility of right frontal lobe focus but they are not frankly epileptic" (what does that mean in english)
so although its good news, i really dont understand what this means, when i rang the unhelpful neurologist secretary she said to discuss it with the GP
hi mate, just thought id give u some reassurance. literally this time last year i had a seizure and woke up in an ambulance. took 9 months of tests (mri, reg, egg, and other various cardiology tests), to decide i was A1. neurologist scare me to death telling me i had to surrender my driving licence, mentioned all sorts of scary stuff. so much so myself and my partner labelled him "dr death". he found nothing abnormal but sent me for cardio tests due to family history of heart issues. this specialist was great and so much more positive than the neuro. just shows how specialist vary on aproach. anyhow long story short im fine, back to driving trains but ironically have to wait for a year seizure free to pass before getting car driving licence back. thats the hardest part. have to cycle everywhere.
ps-if u want any advise on what to expect with tests u have coming up give me a pm

Hello lovely ones. Hope we are all OK. I managed to do the Muller thing today at Sada but my £8 apg became £2. Oh well, it's all good I guess.
Can I ask where folk are finding the mini Batista? I looked high and low in my local and could not find it at all. I asked a mos and I was told it would be in the pharmacy? Didn't go and have a look mind.
Also, may I ask what the A2 milk voucher offer was and is it still working? I finally got mine in the post today, so humongous thanks to the OP and all the others for the constant mentions.
Hugs and kisses to all and sundry, and then some

All the mobile dongle suppliers (Vodafone, Orange, Tmobile etc) have websites where you can input your postcode and find out what sort of reception you will get. Dongles cost around £15 a month but if you want to use it for anything more than just basic internet access it will either cost a lot more or not work. Depends on how remote your cottage is whether you can get any reception at all.
i have got a t mobile sim for mine, cost £20 for a years worth of surfing internet and a 500mb limit per month on downloads.0 -

I'm letting him just chill out just now but can't imagine we'll have any bother with him settling. Hi s previous owners sent him with bed, bowls, towels, food, and even a new collar and lead, so he was obviously very much loved.

Mine didnt have the mini batiste either mimi or the hair accessories, either that or I couldn't find them! I bought one of the little empty shampoo bottles and it worked with that, if these are still in the 3 for £3 offer? I had no earthly idea what I was going to do with the empty shampoo bottle......until my OH claimed it to put WUL in for something to do with his fishing ( don't ask.....I didn't :rotfl:)0 -
