Done muller shop this morning, results in 20 minutes
So, if the Mullers compare at £6.80 (10 x 68p) v £3.40 then it might be a glitchy day.

    If they compare at £5.72 (4 x 68p + 6 x 50p) v £3.40 then it probably isn't.

With a bit of persistance I got our electric DD down from £120 to £88 - it took 3 emails to Eon and some nagging and I read the metre every 2 weeks.
On Eon there is a tracker and graph of usage has been the same or less each month for nearly a year. Each time I took the metre reading we were in credit.
But I took the readings last weekend and we have finally gone in debit. The official bill is due in April so I expect it will back up to £120.
And then in 3 months when we are back in credit again I will start the nagging offense again to get it back down :rotfl:

    Hi mhoc

Sorry to intrude on this thread but thought I'd just give you a quick heads up about our Energy Tracker.

Please don't place too much reliance on this tool. It's meant as a guide only. More of an approximation of usage rather than an exact indicator.

For accuracy, I'd carry on doing what you've been doing and keep a check on your meter. Taking regular readings is the best way to build up an accurate picture of ongoing usage.

Also, with the Direct Debit, we now only review this twice a year. At the mid point and half way through.

We'll still keep an eye on it but won't make any changes in the other quarters. We'll just pop a message on the relevant bill advising the current state of play.

    Hope this is of interest.
