 good afternoon....
Yay new thread, :j....how late to the party am I???
Thank you cookie-raider
I haven't read/lurked much recently, rl got in the way!!!
Haven't a hope of catching up, so cyber hugs and wishes to anyone who needs-wants one..
I noticed this morning that Morries eggs are now £2.99, mars,A8, roses, wispa maltesers etc
Has anyone done a egg shop recently? I was thinking of attempting it this afternoon but its freezing here and keeps threatening to snow.
Bet you've all got loads from the glitch last week, :rotfl:I was really tempted but it was reported not to be working so I missed the boat!! Same old story.0 -
I work on the basis of 1p per Avios, so if a flight works out less I would pay for the flight and vice versa.
With deals to get Avios if it is costing me more than 0.8p per mile I wouldn't bother.
There will always be some people who need to buy Avios to get enough at the right time to book flights etc.
Incidentally, my £500 currency deal to earn 2000 Avios cost about £8 because the exchange rate was worse that the best on the market (HIFX).
So that's 0.4p per Avios.0 -
Just had a chat with on-line help
This is the convo that took place
Welcome to bgo Live Chat. One of our friendly team will be with you shortly.
You are now connected with xxxx
Them: Hello! Welcome to bgo support. How may I help?
Me: Hi. I registered on your site last night and appear to have won £700.38 which I've 'withdrawn'. However its not showing up in my Paypal account. How long would that take. Incidentally its my birthday today so that would be a nice gift
Them: Happy Birthday! We process withdrawals in no less than 72hrs. This allows our Payments team to perform the necessary checks. After this time they payment then goes to your payment provider.
Them: Have you recieved an email with a birthday bonus?
Me: No I haven't had that email. I noticed on the website you require security verification paperwork. Do you write to me requesting those or will I get an email?
Them: Yes, you will receive an email stating when we will need these. At the moment there is no note that we require these.
Them: The birthday bonus code is BDAY, You just enter this if you decide you want to make a deposit today.
Me: Under what circumstances do you require documentation? What does the birthday bonus give me?
Them: However if you have bonus funds you will not be able to make another withdrawal request until wagering requirements have been met.
Them: The Birthday bonus is a 100% reload, but has got wagering requirements attached to it.
Me: I see. Thank you for your help
Them: Security documents can be requested at any time from the Finance department to verify your identity. But you can always supply these before the email request if you would prefer?
Them: You would only need to supply them once- as long as your personal details do not change.
Me: Thanks but I'm not going to post any personal documents to a Company I've only just registered with without full details as to whom they are being addressed to and supporting paperwork to go with them so they know why they have received them. Hopefully as I'm Paypal verified that might already prove my identity.
Well done !!! Just don't get tempted to go back once you have the money.
Generally, verification documents (Driving Licence, Passport, Bills) are only required when you cannot be formally ID'd via a search of the electoral role thru the credit reference agencies. It's similar to a credit search and recorded on your credit files, but not seen by anyone else so has no detrimental effect. It's to comply with AML (Anti Money Laundering) regulations. It's the same search you'll get when opening savings accounts etc.
The majority of people can be verified electronically, but those who can't will have to supply supporting evidence. Each individual company still also has the right to request info under it's T&C's.0 -

That's quite honest of them.
Certainly is. I didn't understand the whole wagering and withdrawal sequence the 1st time so its unlikely I'm gonna put myself through that again. Plus in my experience of gambling on-line, they often give you a win early on, to lure you in - but then you never win anything significant again and find you've spent more than you planned
I'm off out now with Hubbie to get free cake cause Debenhams just sent me a personalised email to claim free cake for me and one other for my birthday. I remember they did this last year too. (Though hubbie is also signed up but doesn't get the deal on his birthday)The end is nigh0 -

Hi all
On the bingo, can anyone answer me in simple terms how long i have to play to ensure i get my tcb money? Its in pending on tcb. I've spent my £10, but its saying about £5 still and still got some bonus left, as had a couple of small wins. bored tho, and got things to do.

So that ticks the "good deal" box.
TBH we have so many avios in the account at the moment that I would only be tempted if it was a very good deal. Last exchange was using Tesco deals when they offered 900 Avios for £2.50 deals at bonus time. That was only because the deal tokens were soon to expire and there wasn't anything else I wanted.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Has anyone had muller lights today/yesterday? On A website they are 10 for £4 but on mys, some are 68p and some are 6 for £3. So a potential glitch? Pay £4 for 10 but choose the 68p ones. Pay £4 but receipt will show £6.80. I think that Ms are 34p each so would get back £3.40+10% - 3.78. So possibly 22p for 10.0

So annoyed with myself, I had a empty loo roll that I bought down at the same time as I bought some dirty washing down, I wondered where it had gone until I went to hang my washing out, Grrr!
Now going to try and rewash the black leggings (Only thing I couldn't get the cardboard fluff off):rotfl:"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Afternoon all.
Gonna have a catch up in a bit.
Just been writing up my Ts shopping list for tonight and I'm confused by something.
On the As website it advertises Coke at 2 for £2 (says valid from 14/3) yet when I click the link it shows no products and also it's not showing on MSM when I'm signed in.
I'm nowhere near an As at the moment but wondered if it is on offer in store (would be a great glitch if it is, they'd be paying us to take it away as it's 2 for £2 in Ts vs £1.98 each in As)
Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
