I see so you pay £64 upwards to get £50 odd profit but also the benefit of free life cover for that length of time . Still seems quite good though for those who want to do it.

    Plus £30 m&s vouchers:)

    Evening

Had a lovely cuddly afternoon then productive evening so far :D Once OH got home from work deep cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and have planted up a load of seeds :j:j Thanks again to hampydoodums :A Can rest tomorrow now if I feel rough.

Completely agree about giving blood :A I could not believe the difference it has made to me this last week. I only gave blood a few times myself :o and they won't be wanting mine anymore. My Mum is due to give her 50th donation next month and Dad gave around 30. It just became part of their routine and I'm really proud of them for that :T

Right, may head over for a little bingo ;)

I gave blood from being 18 until I was 40 apart from when I weighed under 6 stone when they wouldn't take it, but after having a transfusion myself after an accident I'm not allowed to give blood anymore.

Evening. I'm back from the Morries check, via Sada on the way back tonight which is a little bit unusual for me, but just went to use that small 74p voucher - went to get two S/P Cottage Pies, expecting them to be 60p each, and found they were 45p - so well happy:). (Perhaps anything associated with beef is now bringing the price down!) SEL 45p matched the price at the till (and I've now seen it at 45p on MSM) so no £2 gift card result, but not really complaining.

As for the Morries check, it seems to grow and grow each week. I started off at the fresh fruit & veg. section and thought there was quite a bit of change compared to last week, but I then went onto the other sections and there wasn't as much change - although you'd think I had every good-value item on the list already - not so as I must now have another 150-200 possibles for the new list - I'm  in a way but also :) because it means more that we can get quite cheaply.

As for the new list, I'm afraid it'll still take me till tomorrow, or possibly Friday, night before I find time to go through and check and get the final list here, although I've now got the list more organised so hopefully it's taking me less time in store.

I might just get chance to post the carryovers tonight, if I'm lucky, but there are loads of new items so I'd hang fire if I were you - in case something better comes up. A few highlights from this week - the Rocky 9s are down to 74p in M (£1 last week) but now only running to 24/3. Caramel, Original or Chocolate. The McVities Cake Bars (65p M last week) are now back up to full price, as are the Thorntons 10s that compare to A. Pantene Shampoo 500ml (varieties to be confirmed) is £2.00 (there may be some MOCs available which is why this price has been taken). M also have a trifle, which I am checking to see if it has beaten the Sains. Basics Trifle on price per unit.

    Two final things...

For those who might buy I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, shopping this week is simpler than ever and involves no calculations having to be made at all:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and - as is clear, transparent and obvious to everyone - it's the 1kg regular spread T or S vs A's £1.50 (or just buy in A at £1.50 straight on non-APG shopping) at the moment and no thought of trying the 500g pack Avs M's 85p. 1) A have 400g at £1 and do not stock the 500g, and 2) even if they had done, 10% cheaper than 85p would still work out more per unit than £1.50 for 1kg. (£1.53 for 2x500g after non-avail. 10% cheaper, as opposed to £1.50 straight.) As you all obviously know straight off:rotfl:.

Woohoo... I've found another item that is an A vs M exclusive (and N/A everywhere else). The ASDA Rocket Lollies (8x58ml) - £1.00 according to MSM and N/A on all the stores on MSM's site. I have found that M have M 8 pack Space Rockets, at £1.00, which I have noted down as being total 464ml - this might just be comparable don't you think??? I think it might well be!

Has anyone tried this.. how easy is it to cancel?

I do online banking, as soon as c/b pays out I cancel D/D - that's it.
TCB is offering £90 for this, but I'm thinking they will match Quidco.

TCB terms state "You must pay at least 6 months premiums to qualify for cashback. However, it can take up to 8 months to validate your cashback."

I may do this for DH and cancel after 6 months, I assume they would still pay the CB after 6 months?

I wouldn't cancel until you are sure you have the cashback and M&S voucher:) Even if it takes 12 months and can afford the monthly outlay you will still be £50 up in the long run:)
    Awaiting a new sig

I've always waited until the c/b has confirmed before cancelling the D/D, but as it normally takes at least a month from applying before the first payment is taken, the most I've paid is 7 months.
