Can anyone point in the direction of a retailer that just so happens to be selling Dyson's at 90% off RRP.
If 90% off is asking too much, then just retailers offering Dyson's at a good price.
Finally if anyone has an info on which Dyson's to avoid then this would also be appreciated.
I find it strange that a Dyson can range from £130 to £350 for what is ultimately the same product.
any help would be most appreciated

No reliance should be placed on the above.

Don't know the details but I know of someone who was over the moon about the great deal she got on a brand new Dyson on Ebay. Apparently the seller gets quite a few on so it might be worth a look.0

House of Fraser ususally have excellent offers on Dysons in their special sales. If you go on the 1st day of the sale - usually a Thursday - there is an extra 10% off sale prices too.
We got our Dyson for about £140; originally something like £260, reduced to about £160 then 10% off.
They had them in the sale about 2 weeks ago so worth a look, or if you can wait a few weeks till the next 10% off day you'd get an even better bargain0 -
Argos in Sheffield (angel street store if it helps) were selling a clearance dyson upright for £149.99... didn't check to see which model it was but it looked to be a good one. Other stores may have similar offers.
I find for household things like this, the online discount vouchers elsewhere in the forum are helpfull, alternatively, while a catalouge may not be the cheapest, if you can get 20%+ off your order with a referal from a friend they can sometimeswork out very cheap.0 -
Is there a reason why you have to have a Dyson? Perhaps you should look at other brands?
Dyson aren't good value for money even if they were the same price as other makes - unfortunately I bought one before I realised that.
Can't recommend any other makes though as I haven't tried any recently.

Personally we are sticking with Bosch after having 2 dysons that fell to bits in no time.0 -
Sebo ones are fantastic, expensive, but go fully flat to get under the beds etc. also automatically adjust for the type of flooring, raises and lowers according to hard floor or carpet, plus its quiet. Dysons are incredibly noisy.Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%0
