I've calculated that if I TillyTidy, I'll save £6.23 per month off my fixed direct debits, plus a little extra on the variable ones.
Annoyingly, two of the DDs are already of the form £xx.00 which is vexatious!!
By rounding to next £5 (a TillyTidy Deluxe!!), it would be £32.23/per month plus a little extra. That'll soon add up!!:T
You've only been here 5 minutes and you've fitted in perfectly :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
Hello to the mad world of OP'ing, don't encourage GG to much, she can be a bit of a monkey and fill your diary with lots of these

I transfer all over to my 'house' account where the btl's run. And in turn, that gets transferred out elsewhere - regular savers and now Flexdirect. In reality the 23p's etc get absorbed in day to day spends and I transfer out what not is needed for the current month.
Luckily the highest mortgage rate is only 2.5% so I can get higher from reg savers and Flexdirect :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I think I'll set up my savings account and pay into that and then do a once a month overpayment. It'll help me to ensure I'm on target each month for a double payment. If I do it on a PAYG basis, I'll have to keep totting it up and that'll drive me bonkers.
Each to their own I suppose!

Wowee! Well proud of myself! I've paid off nearly £2000 off my CC debts this month and it's only the 17th. If I can manage another £387.02 by 31st March, I'll have halved the debt!!!Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200
