Apologies for replying to my own post again...

Just had a call from the adviser. Apparently they haven't said no, yet. They are requesting copies of documents, payslips, p60, 3 months bank statements and discharge certificates.

Am I to get a glimmer of hope up?

Someone did on Saturday, unless Experian is a day out.

Probably an automated request. Wouldn't be done manually.

Experience of Nationwide underwriting actually suggests this is a positive sign.

Looks like 2nd sub keeper has turned into the Honey Monster.

Thanks Dave. I am keeping my feet planted in the meantime buthopefully I will have to run naked down the street, as promised to the missus if in any chance they say yes. If they do I will be absolutely astounded.

I did give up on the football analogy, but love the honey monster :)

It has been 2 WEEKS now since I submitted my DIP.
I will accept about 1 working dat between when they requested the documents, to when I emailed them in.

I was supposed to hear last Friday, then COP Monday, the COP Tuesday....

It's beginning to get annoying. I am in the situation now where I just want to know, whatever the decision.

Either NW is leading the adviser a merry dance, or the advisor is making things up. It would be so much easy if either party were realistic about the timescales.

    Argghhh!!

Just had an email from the advisor.
I need to send a letter explaining why I went bankrupt, and then apparently they will give me a descision within 48 hours.

Does anyone have any hints on what I should include?

Why you went bankrupt? Sounds strange.

Like "I did not pay my debts"?

It's been over 3 weeks now. I feel it's starting to get beyond a joke .
Apparently I will find out by end of tomorrow , will believe it when I see it

Anyone else experienced a dip taking this long before ?
