Yes! It is the companies who care about their fans that are willing to change the way they run their comps. The uncaring companies who just basicially want as many likes as possible and want us posting loads of their photos all over Facebook who either don't answer us or make a feeble excuse!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

    PLEASE READ

Can we please try to provide a link to a source that the companies can use to change their comps? Small businesses may well not know about the existence of free apps and be put off using offical FB apps because they have to pay for them.

3 companies that I messaged have thanked me for letting them know about Rafflecopter etc (via Di's blog) because it means they actually get EXTRA publicity via Twitter etc. They also thought that no L/S comps meant they had to stop running comps completely.

This is the link I give them but feel free to use your own. We need them to know that there is a FREEE ALTERNATIVE as well as just showing them the rules - or they may just stop all comps on FB.

I've just seen an e-mail in my inbox from LinenMe.com and it included a link to a like and share competition on Facebook, so I've e-mailed the named person back and informed them of the FB rules issue, recent bans, so I'm concerned about entering etc, and included the IPM guidelines.

Out of all the PM's I fired off this morning - only one has replied. They were grateful for the information I provided and said that they like the look of rafflecopter (from the link I provided). Funnily enough they even paid Facebook to promote their L&S comp - and Facebook approved it!
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Aahhh, so L/S comps are against rules unless money changes hands.

I'd rather the companies used free apps that we point them towards than pay FB, it's so exploitative of small businesses
