Good morning people, newbies and old timers! It's Friday :j
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:
Today I will/have
- send everyone with packed lunches
- do a couple of hours invigilating
- have a NSD
- do a couple of hours invigilating
- do a matched bet or two ready for the weekend
- make a storecupboard/freezer dinner
- do my banking, paying a small amount off an overdraft as the bank are starting to get twitchy!!
Have a good day everyone x

Hi everyone. Not much today, as I'm out the house for 12 hours at work. But I'll try to take as much of my food with me as I can - difficult not to have *some* fast food when its so long, and I get back so late (11pm). But the slow cooker's on now, cooking the beans I soaked yesterday. Good weekend, everyone.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
