What soup for a diet?

Can anybody tell me which (home made) soups are good for diets and which have hidden carbs?

How can home-made soups have hidden carbs? You know what ingredients you're using so can choose low-carb ones.0

I don't really know much about carbs Mojisola. I make carrot & lentil soup, add some barley and odd veg, and I havent a clue how it is for carbs etc. I planned on sticking to soup every day but thought best to check first in case it isn't helping.0

All you need for a very healthy and low fat soup is:
. Veg
. Veg stock
. Herbs or spices - fresh or dried
Cook the veg in a saucepan in the stock and simmer for 10 mins. Add the herbs and spices then blend.
A very good way of using vegetables that are on the turn - bendy carrots, yellow broc, wrinkly peppers etc.
I have friends that are on Weight Watchers and go on about these zero pointed soups, Basically any veg apart from peas, sweetcorn (can use babycorn), potato and parsnip.0 -
