Argos Extended Warranty

I purchased a PS3 for my son, this being second hand but only a few months only. It came with a 3 year Argos warrant which the previous owner had paid and additional £47 odd for. Will this warranty be tranferable to myself (ie the item) or it is only valid for the person who purchased it?

You should be able to. If its damaged (the extended warranty covers accidental damage) take the receipt (should have the PS3 and the 3-year RPC on it, probably stapled to a leaflet) and the item with as much of the original accessories as you can and they should replace it or give you in-store credit for the amount paid for the PS3

Warranties are normally non-transferable.

It's unlikely the 3 year warranty will transfer to the new owner but they really need to check with Argos.
