I on the other hand, am void of ideas.

Sorry, you are not unique as I am exactly the same!

Except I do have one idea: invent a system for a car which melts ice before the front wheels reach the ice. Flamethrowers or attaching a dragon to the car's bonnet are both impractical.

heres what i do when im devoid of ideas,

1, have a walk into town preferably a run down part of town and ask yourself what do these people need and how much are they willing to pay,

alternativly I'l just go on expireddomains and look through whats expired some of the names may spark ideas

membership sites i find are always a good idea if you cant thiink of what else to do

One of my 'barriers' is that it is a deprived area, shops are closing right left and centre. It's only basics that seem to survive, food shops, 99p shops and the like.

I think I need an all singing all dancing online idea. No-one locally will have enough money to spend to enable me to get me out of that deprived area.
