Blimey.. i think some of you are getting a bit carried away here.

The housemaid that cleaned the villa ( in their allowed 20 minutes), missed a dirty window and failed to notice dirty pots in the cupboards ( which if they were already in the cupboard is not surprising).
Wow - one missing item from the inventory ( which is way better at centre parks than any other big UK self catering holiday supplier)..

Not exactly major faults are they ?

Sure they should have acted on your complaints. But its hardly a holiday from hell ..

You left the cheese on the window for days !!!! It would not have taken much effort to clean it off if the birds pecking was waking you up ..

I have been going to CP for years - 3 of th 4 uk sites. I have never had a serious complaint. Yes I have had missing/broken bulbs, and missing crockery and pans etc. But a quick visit to reception to report it, and all have been resolved to my satisfaction within say 24 hours.

But, a friend of mine went and her villa was so bad (presumably not hoovered, dusted, cleaned etc) she complained. She was immediately upgraded to a bigger villa and even had the cp staff to re-pack/move/un-pack all their stuff for them into the new place !!

Then invited her sister and brother-in-law to come, as they now had extra bedrooms !!

Let us know what the outcome is to your complaint.
    Good luck !!!

    Hi chaps, me again.

Well they have replied to my letter with a 'we will look into it' letter.
They also said when I phoned, that they would honour any web offer that I missed while waiting.

So that's that for now. Thanks for all your thoughts and experiences so far. Still like to read all the things you have to say about this, Thanks.

We received a lovely letter in the post.
They couldn't say sorry enough for the things in the room that were faulty etc.

    So.....

.....they sent a voucher for money off on our next stay (we were/are hoping to go in September anyway!!)!

    I thought that was nice.
Thank you all for your help in this matter. I'm glad you gave me the boost I needed to actually go ahead and complain as I hate making trouble. :T

Oh, the voucher was for £120 by the way. I'm happy with that!! And we've got 2 years before it expires.

    Hi
We are going to De Kamperveenen next month, is it advisable to pre book meals and activities, we got a good deal and even with flights (Ryanair Stansted to Eindhoven) it was cheaper than UK Centerparcs
