The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual which, at its sole discretion, it believes has tampered with the entry process or who has breached any rule of this competition.
This promotion commences at midnight on 4th March 2013 and ends at 11.59pm on 15th April 2013 (the "Promotional Period"). All entries received after this date will not be entered into the promotion.
Five prize winners will be drawn at random on 22nd April 2013 from all valid entries received at the end of the Promotional Period. The draw will take place in the presence of an independent observer.
First Prize Details
The first prize is a trip for two adults to Barcelona. The prize includes: return economy flights - London to Barcelona, return airport transfers in resort, 2 nights 4* hotel accommodation sharing a twin / double room including breakfast, Barcelona Gourmet Food and La Boqueria Market Walking Tour and comprehensive travel insurance (excluding pre-existing medical conditions). Travel dates are subject to availability and the trip must be booked and all travel completed by 31/03/2014. Travel is not permitted during Christmas, Easter or UK Bank Holidays.
Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier.
For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel to and from the home to the airport, gratuities, meals or other or any other costs unless otherwise stated.
Passports and Visas are the responsibility and cost of the prize winner. The Promoter or HRG cannot be held responsible if the prize winner or any of the travelling party fail to obtain the required travel documentation.
Comprehensive travel insurance is included in the prize; however it does not cover pre-existing medical conditions. In the event the prize winner cannot be covered by standard comprehensive insurance, an equivalent cash allowance to the standard travel insurance will be provided to the winner to put towards an additional level of cover, this will be the prize winner’s responsibility and proof of insurance will be required prior to departure.
The prize winner and their party (where applicable) are responsible for and must comply with any health advice / regulations / inoculations required by any destination country. Any associated costs for this are the responsibility of the prize winner and their party (where applicable).
Second Prize Details
The Second prize consists of an overnight stay for two in London staying at a 4* hotel including breakfast and a 3-course surprise menu at Dans Le Noir (sensory restaurant) including a bottle of surprise wine. Dates are subject to availability, and the trip must be booked and all travel completed by 31/03/2014, excluding Christmas, Easter and UK Bank Holidays. Runner-up Prize details
The three runner-up prizes are Gourmet Farmhouse Hampers each containing; Bottle of light dry white wine 75cl, Box of Summerdown pure mint chocolate peppermint creams 200g, Truckle of mature farmhouse cheddar 200g, Packet of Farmhouse chocolate chip cookies 200g, Bottle of raspberry and rosemary balsamic salad dressing. 200ml, Jar of strawberry extra preserve 90g, Tube of Mocca Chocca real Belgium chocolate drink 150g, Packet of Wellbeing raspberry leaf tea 40g, Packet of traditional sweets 125g, Packet of Stockans original thick Orkney oatcakes 100g, Jar of sundried tomato with garlic chutney 90g, Packet of Garfalo superior linguine 500g, Packet of Stiratini original long bread sticks 250g, RJ’s natural soft raspberry liquorice log 40g & a Loyd Grossman sauce.
The five prize winners will be notified by telephone within 7 days of the draw and will be contacted on the number provided on the entry form. In the event the claim for a prize is not received within 28 days of such notification, the promote reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original.
There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part, except, owing to circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter. The promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of equal or greater value. Prizes will only be awarded directly to the winner.
