Question on new premises-chasing EAs?

I live in a large city of 300,000 and there is only 1 property which is in the half of the city I'm looking, the size and price I'm looking to pay.
I've been trying to get hold of the EA for a week and finally spoke to him today to be told that someone else is very interested in it, so he's waiting for them to get back to him before he lets me view.
There's nowhere else about AT ALL! It's not as if I can compromise on space/price requirements as the next available premises is 100% bigger with a 75% price increase.
knowing how EAs work, I know he won't ring me even if the other people say no. I'm getting a bit desperate as I need to have found a premises by 19 June as I'm hoping to get a Princes trust loan for my start up and this is the last date I can apply before my 31st birthday.
How long should I wait before I ring him back? Don't want to get him offside by being annoying, but am desperate to view this one and put forward how quickly I want to move in if it's the right one for me.

You see I thought that EAs worked by selling properties.....
In other words, keep on at them, let them know you are very serious about the building. They would be stupid (and very unpopular with their vendor) if they did not take notice of you.
I think a call every day would be ok, just to show your interest. You can always ask about other properties as well. This will at least make your conversations different everytime.0 -

Nope. EAs do as little as possible for the money.
therefore they don't care if they let to me or anyone else as they know someone will bite sooner or later and they'll get their money.
This EA has no other properties at all so can't just make polite conversation, hence the fact I don't want to bug them.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

What makes you think he won`t get back to you?
Visit a few other premises in the area and ask who the landlord is, if you are sure the EA is messing you about, contact the landlord direct.0 -
Have rung Mon, tues, wed to find out the position of the property and the guy I need to speak to hasn't got back to me.
Kinda gives it away
There are no other premises in the area to visit, unless I go for something which is double my size and budget, which is a waste of everyones time.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
