Basic/budget accommodation in Cornwall in summer hols?

I've been waiting for the Travelodge deals to book a room for the summer hols, but nothing yet. Does anyone know of anywhere nice, but budget for say under £300 for a week in Cornwall in the summer holidays? I'm from cornwall and want to take my daughter back, so there'd be 3 of us and just want something I can sleep in and make a bit of food and be a base without squandering £500+? Ideally west cornwall?

Look on Gumtree for owners who let out their caravan or private holiday lets.Also this site is very good for caravan lets,I have used several from here & always found them very good.http://www.directholidayhomes.co.uk/cornwall.aspx
