Contents Insurance for Rented Accommodation

Hi All,
I'm about to move in to a rented property with my partner. One of the stipulations on my tenancy contract is that I have a contents insurance policy that covers my landlord's fixtures and fittings. The letting agent has offered me a policy provided by NFU, but I would imagine this is uncompetitive as most things are if someone else sorts it out for you.
Does anyone know if a standard contents insurance policy would cover me, or do I need to look for specific policies when I shop around? I had a bit of a browse of insurancesupermarket.com and some direct insurers but couldn't see anything that seemed to fit my requirement.
I'm pretty sure what I'm looking for is not 'Tenants Insurance', as some of the insurers call it. This seems to be aimed at people living in shared accommodation.
Thanks in advance.

I met the same problem when finding insurance for my daughter who lives in rented accommodation in London (It is shared accomm. but the insurance is solely for her).
I eventually got her cover with a firm called E&L Insurance who specialise in the field of rentals.
Their website is https://www.eandl.co.uk
The cost was £96 at last years renewal and it covers her contents plus the landlords fixtures and fittings.0
