I had great fun sorting out double glazing for my house.

First muppet was from Crystal Windows who turned up. He introduced himself and then his first question was "Do you live alone?" "No, the missus is at work." "Well I can't give you a quote then?" "Why not?" "Because we need both of you here to make the decisions. Sometimes the husband orders and then the wife gets home and they change their mind." "Well if you give me a quote and the price is right then I'll sign today!" "Can't do that, let's make another appointment?" "No thanks! Bye!"

Second muppet was from another DG company. He turned up an hour late and started measuring up for his quote. Then to make matters worse the third muppet from DG company no.3 turned up an hour early whilst second muppet was still measuring. Second muppet said to me: "He's early I think you should ask him to leave!" Third muppet said "I'm early! Not late like you!" So I let them both get on with measuring whilst wondering whether fisticuffs would break out.

Second muppet priced up at £8,500 and third at £6,500. So I told second muppet on the phone that third had priced up at £4,500 to beat him even if they made a loss! Second muppet called his manager and instantly offered to price match at £4,500 for the whole house! Result!:rotfl:

I posted on here about them as the hassel I had earlier in the year.

I have had about 3 cold callers from this usless company and told them all i wouldnt touch this company with a ten foot bardge pole and would never recommend them to anyone except to say stay clear.

Were the calls by telephone and are you TPS registered ? If you are, then they are breaking the law .

You tend to realise the quality of this company when they have drugged up "smackhead"'s cold calling for them ....... when you already have an entire house full of UPVC and a conservatory!!!
