Buildings insurance - current insurer doesnt use no claims!

Got renewal. 5 years no claims on contents but doesn't say anything about buildings. Rang them and they don't do no claims on buildings...
Thing is its looks like I haven't claimed n buildings possibly ever.
If I go to new insurer I guess I'm going to have to put no claims on buildings as zero :-( Since I dont have any document with no claims listed on it....

Most home insurers dont use "no claims discount", they go simply by your claims history.
On the basis you cannot buy "protection" for your NCD on Home then the two numbers are basically the same0 -
The applications for the firms I use ask if you have made any buildings or contents claims in the last five years and do not ask for evidence, as;-
- there is no "no claims discount," as such
- they can see any claims on the database, should they wish to check.

Quidco compare does ask for no claims discount. Admitedly, some of the quotes seem to ignore it.0

Aggregators have to ask questions that any large player on their panel want asked. The rest get the data and tend to ignore it.
Look at the direct insurers/ brokers websites and few ask about NCD for Home0
