rebuilding credit rating

in Credit cards
I'm currently trying to rebuild my credit score after a period of unemployment leading to debt and missed payments and one ccj.
I am now debt free. But obviously the ccj is still on record and won't drop off for a few years,
In the meantime I have a Luma credit card which I use to fill the car up and pay off in full each month to try to generate some ”good” marks on the credit file.
Would taking out a second sub prime card and doing a similar thing with that improve things, as I'd be getting two positive marks on the credit file, or slow down the process as I'd then have two sub prime products on file!
Or is the ccj such a big black mark that nothing else I do will make much difference until that drops off?
The aim is to get myself in a position that I can get accepted for a mortgage at a sensible rate in a couple of years time, assuming I can save up the deposit!

Another credit card will help for when the CC'j falls off as you would've built a credit history but for now that CC'j is like a bad virus on your report that prime lenders wouldn't touch.0

So theres pretty much nothing I can do except build as much good history as I can untill the CCJ drops off. Had guessed that would be the case
