Can O/h and I afford early retirement ?

Ressurected this thread to say "No we can't afford early retirement." We have had two wonderful "retirement" years together, but I have been offered the oportunity of a little part time work. So, given the awful interest rates at the moment and the fact that we still have two years to go before the old mans pension kicks in, I am returning to the coalface. This will in reality enable us to stay at the same level of income as last year, it certainly won't make us better off.

But hey, how lucky am I to be in a position to boost our income a little, by doing a job that I enjoy?

What could be better? You've had a go at something you wanted to try, enjoyed it and now are moving on to something you'll probably enjoy just as much. Well done!
