My DW has just got one of these and we cannot work out how to answer an incomming call! The manual doesn't help either.
When the phone rings we cannot do anything till we pull the ring up the screen and then the phone immediately sends the caller an email saying we are busy!
How do I disable this?

I've just downloaded the Wildfire S manual and it looks straightforward to answer a call:
If the display is active, just tap Answer
If the display is off, drag the bar that shows the callers name or number downward.
Reading a bit further suggests that dragging the bar up makes the phone ready to reject the call. All on page 41 of the manual here:

Thanks, yes that is what the manual says but the manual shows an older version (I think) and does not help. When you drag the ring up to switch the phone on it comes up with the "I am busy" email and will not answer the call!0

I had that problem after downloading updated software. I am pretty sure i got round the problem by dragging the green phone icon into the circle and not pulling the ring up.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I had the same issue (at least I know now that its not just me being thick
). The solution is to drag the icon to the circle (as described above) in order to answer the phone. :A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

I think the issue is more that the software has changed but the instructions haven't been updated to match, which is a bit poor but probably not unexpected. Glad to hear you've sorted it anyway.0
