Hi there, just seen a report about THE PEOPLES WEB on TV. It looks as if it may be good competion for e-bay! Only £5 a year for an individual to sell, and £25 a year for a tradesman!

On what do you base your opinion?

It's not for me from what I've seen so far, loads like a three toed sloth on Valium and hangs continually..... Returns errors all the time......

Sorry, I agree with Tojo Ralph even on Broadband it is too slow to actually look at. It looks amateurish, no thanks.

I have yet to come across any decent competitor for eBay i'm afraid. This one is quite disappointing along with QXL etc...

poster probably mentioning it on the 1.14pm post as it was mentioned a few minutes earlier on "working lunch" and .. as always happens when a small site gets free publicity like this ... it crashes for some hours or days after.

on dial up i did try it at 2pm but nothing would load .. ' i'll leave it and try again monday/tuesday when it's all quietened down.
certainly won't write it or its'contents off too quickly .. the story was of 4 guys trying to set up an alternative style to ebay.

"God loves a tryer" and i certainly take my hat off to people who will have a go to build / develop an idea ... something i've never had the time / money or more importantly .. the nerve to do !!
