Hello,
Some of you may know that I have a new laptop with Vista that will not run either of my printers. Can you buy a printer that will work with both Vista and XP or is it an either/or situation?
I do not need anything fancy I only ever print off things now and then, approx 4 or 5 pages a week. It is just annoying to have to think what computer you are using before you click on the print icon,

Id be very interested in hearing what printers you have that Vista will not work with.
There is a big issue with HP printers not working properly, but most should be fine.0 -
The only issue with HP printers is the full software package... Driver only installs are 99% succesful and the Server 2003 drivers will work also0

Well I have a Lexmark Z35 and a Dell but the drivers are not available for either. So I have decided to use the older computer with XP if I know I want to print. Then I will treat myself to a new printer in a few months making sure it is new stock!0

My 4-5 year old Epson R300 is compatible. You can still pick them up on ebay for around £40 delivered.0
