in Credit cards
Hi guys,
Hope everyone is ok.
Just after some advice if possible please.
I have my main credit card debt with Barclaycard its £3000 and I still got 18 months 0% on it, they are offering me a further balance transfer for 12 months from another card.
I have £400 on Virgin which the 0% has run out so I pay about £5 interest per month, they are also offering me another 12 months balance transfer from another card,
My 3rd card is Marks and Spencer which I have £400 on as well, the 0% has run out and I still use this card for purchases and pay about £5 interest per month.
Now my question is, If I do a balance transfer for example from Marks to my existing card like Virgin or Barclaycard, will it be a same procedure ie will they check my credit report?
I checked my credit rating with experian and have a score of 999 as I pay everything on time, so I was thinking is it better for me to transfer the £800 to a fresh card and close the marks straight after.
Or shall I transfer the £400 from Marks to Virgin, close the Marks down and get a brand new card just for 0% purchases?
Im worried if they see I have 3 cards, they won't give me the 4th or that it might affect my credit rating.
Thanks peeps:beer:

Cards companies do not do a credit search when you do a BT, as long as you have the available credit I can't see any reason why this will not go through..0

No if you do a BT there is no credit check just straight pay out/pay in0
