Quote Me Happy problems

My car insurance is with Quote Me Happy and a couple of weeks back, I updated my details to reflect I had a job, and my policy to include commuting. I did these as two changes, so had two small charges (£2.62 and £2.53) to pay. I paid them with my debit card and thought that was that.
When I checked my bank statement, I found that the £2.62 had been taken then refunded (the £2.53 was taken normally). When I checked my QMH account, they were wanting the £2.62 paid again. I emailed them and the response was that as a "gesture of goodwill" the charge was being written off.
On Saturday, I got a letter saying I had a £2.62 premium outstanding. Not wanting the hassle of emailing I decided just to pay it. But when I did pay it, they took a whopping £163.13 instead - when I clicked "pay" next to £2.62, the amount changed on the next screen although stupidly I didn't pay close attention.
I contacted my bank and they're prepared to issue a chargeback, but I also emailed QMH via their complaint form asking for a full refund - using complaints means that if needs be I can go to the Financial Ombudsman as my next step.
My big problem is that despite paying over £160 more than I needed to, the "alert" to pay the £2.62 is still on my account and if I don't pay it by the end of next week, my policy will be cancelled. But when I click "Pay", it's the same problem - the amount changes to £163.13. With this now being the fourth working day since I sent the email, I'm getting worried about the lack of response.
I don't want to cancel the policy myself, because it's near its end and I don't want to lose my NCD (this is my first year of driving, so NCD is like gold).
Does anyone have any suggestions? I never thought I'd be wishing there was a call centre I could phone...
