Direct Debit for House Insurance

I got my renewal form through and my insurance is going to be £26.75 per month which I am happy with and have agreed to it.
Then they sent me through the direct debit confirmation and it says £26.79 per month.
Would you ring up and complain for the sake of 4p per month? I have no idea why they have changed it.

Insurance seems to be the only thing these days that charge you extra if you pay by direct debit, although its normally a bit more than 48p a year! (I think I pay 10/15 quid more to pay by DD)
I would call them, insurance companies seems to wiggle out of paying for the slighest detail, you need to have everything in order to be safe.

If they managed to get the price wrong what else could they have got wrong ring up and check is my adviceLife is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

I definitely would, I phoned up my mortgage provider after they donated 67p on my behalf to a charity I hadn't heard of. I felt like such a scrooge asking for it for a refund but it was the principle of the matter, I had no idea where it was going and hadn't been asked for my permission to take it so felt justified ultimately.
As above, it's worth it simply to clarify they have everything correct.0 -

You are paying more to pay by installments rather than once a year.
Most companies charge you for giving credit. You cannot compare to Electricity for example because that is quarterly billing or DD not annual or DD.
In some cases it is a 3rd party finance company that gives you the loan to pay it monthly and needless to say they dont work for free.0 -
Or it could be that they've got to round up the first month a bit because there's a few pence that can't be split evenly between the rest of the months.0
