Baby stuff

Traditionally it was taboo to start buying stuff in the first three months of pregnancy but this I am sure is a bit of a superstitious tale because quite a few pregnancies end during this time and (having had a miscarriage myself) I think it would be tortuous to look at baby stuff when there is no baby to use them. About this time last year my daughter came for a 'chat'. She tearfully told me that she and her partner were being referred for fertility treatment because they had been trying for a baby for 2 years. About six weeks later she handed me a scan picture and in January she had a precious little girl. So she must have conceived immediately after telling me she couldn't get pregnant! I know it's unPC to say relax, but I really think that is what happened when my daughter began to address the 'problem' I do hope this is comforting for you to hear. As far as buying baby stuff perhaps it may make your longing more difficult to bear, but I wish you all the best x0
