Genius Scanners from e-buyer

Ordered a scanner from e-buyer only a cheap one as i dont use it that often. It came on tuesday and has totally wrecked my pc >:(

It was a Genius Vivid 1200X. You cannot install it on windows xp like it claims as it just makes your computer crash badly. I have had to install windows again so lost everything i had on the pc.

I thought it was just the cd at first as it had a slight scratch on it, so downloaded the drivers from genius but no that made my pc crash again

Its a load of rubbish so is going back. Just hope i get a refund.

I take it all back it was not the scanner which is now working perfectly. It was the damned service pack 2 update for XP. I have had to re-install windows again, after it started playing up Internet Explorer and many otehr things.

Have not got PC running perfectly (without SP2) and will not be downloading this from MS.
