Need help!!! How can I take my money back?!

Options
Please help me!!

I bought UGG boots on the website official-uggaustralia-shop.co.uk and paid by realypay.com. But realypay.com sent me an email to say that the boots were out of stocks and it takes about a month to refund my money.

Till now (after 3 months) I still haven't received my money back. So how can I do? I used a Visa debit card of Lloyds TSB to pay it. Can I report this to Lloyds and claim my money back with Lloyds?

I am very worry, please tell me what I need to do now?
Thanks very much!!

If you paid via realypay.com. I doubt you used a offical ugg store.

    offical

If the debit is over 120 days ago then you have lost any chance of getting the money back.

Only 120 days to action a chargeback.

    Looks you got scammed.

The official site seems to be http://www.uggaustralia.co.uk

The site you mention is US registered but probably really chinese.

Search the Forum for Ugg scams, and talk to Lloyds. In theory, your debit card should offer you protection.

I'd say a definite scam. Weird domain name using a Chinese payment processor.

Chance of getting fake boots: 1%
Chance of getting genuine boots: 0%
Chance of a chargeback: Could be difficult due to timescales, Visa typically has a limit of 120 calendar days, so you might just be able to do something if you act now.

    Which? re chargeback.
"Time limitThere is a time limit on claims - typically 120 days - which starts from the day you become aware of a problem." (my emphasis)

There may be a problem with the method of payment
"Watch out if you use your credit or debit card to load money into your PayPal account or other similar online accounts, as it is the loading of the money that is considered to be the card transaction. If the money that you load into your account is then subsequently used to buy goods and services, that transaction is not classed as a card transaction and is unlikely to be covered by chargeback."

Why did you wait so long to raise a claim with Visa? It must have been obvious after a month that they weren't going to refund you. A genuine refund would take only a few days to action.

    Which strikes again.....

Visa regulations are 120 days from the date of debit. NOT from you become aware of the problem.

There are some cases where the timescale is extended. Such as when you buy a ticket and pay in advance. The 120 days start from the date of the event.

    Also they mention paypal.
Again the yare not telling the total truth. A chargeback against paypal can be rejected by paypal. As they are not the retailer providing hte goods/service.
Just a company that move the money you asked them to. So they have provided the service they were contracted to do.
