I couldn't find detailed specs, but £35 isn't going to get £600 performance and quality, in fact you might find some of the things you want to do struggle a bit performance-wise. My 2p only though, someone may have Fuller specs and be able to give you a better idea

It's very basic and would probably struggle. For £35 though it's maybe worth a punt - you could potentially return it under Distance Selling Regs if you don't like it, and only lose out on the return postage. (I don't think tablets are excluded as they can be reset to factory conditions). Seller looks to be UK-based not China.

Seeing some of the tablets asked about on TVCatchup forums, I'd say prolly yes, but post on there to ask themselves, as they would know.

Absolute bargain, I have used many tablets this spec. you might be pleasantly surprised, the A13 has a second processor built in, a 400MHz Mali graphics processor that takes a lot of the load on running the display and video decoding.

I have one A13 tablet kicking around that can play any HD video file without stutter and output it to an HD TV at the same time via its HDMI port.

Only downside is battery life may be a bit short at times on cheaper tablets, in my experience video playback doesn't tax them too much and gives a good life, games with 3D play can use the battery very quickly! Surfing also speeds up battery use as wifi takes a lot of power, turning wifi off when not needed obviously helps.

NAT PC's are generally solid and its got Google Play on (not all have) so no problem setting it up. Install Opera Browser and it will have no problem running any web pages.

Any comparison to expensive tablets is irrelevant, the only question is will it do what you want, yes.

I took delivery of an 80 quid tablet today, this one,http://www.7dayshop.com/mobiles-tablets-e-readers/sumvision-cyclone-voyager-7-android-4-1-capacitive-touch-screen-tablet-16gb

Now I've only been using it for a few hours but I'm mightily impressed. In fact I'm yet to find anything I don't like about it.
It's my first tablet so I only have my smartphone to compare it with but speed wise it's light years faster.

One important thing to note,Sumvision have a UK website with support, most cheap Chinese brands don't

I should hope so mate, that's a faster dual core model! Tablets are very, very price sensitive, even £10 makes a huge difference to the spec you get (let alone £45)

The question is does a tablet do enough for what you want to pay. I have one here right now, its a single CPU A8 with a separate 400MHz Mali graphic chip. Very similar to the one the op is looking at.
Its playing Top Gear on BBCiplayer absolutely perfectly. Not using the slow BBC app, its playing via Opera Browser far better and is just a bookmark click away. (https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/bigscreen/)

Kids were using it earlier to play Temple Run and Tiki Kart 3D without problem.
