How to value car registeration plate

Hi need help. I want to sell my car registeration plate but not sure how much it is worth. I contacted 3 companies and they offered me £150, £300 and £350. How can I know what to ask for. Plate is OIL 5505. Please help:)

    Things are only worth what people will pay. Grab the highest offer unless you want to start trying to find a private buyer yourself.

    Take the lower offer if its cash, the other 2 will be trying to sell it on commission for years.

    Just a standard NI plate. Not worth much, if anything really.

    Agreed - not sure if it's true for NI plates, but if the car has previously had a plate transferred from it, the reg that is now on it will probably be defined as "not transferable". Deffo worth checking.
