Where to buy Contact Lenses for the Cheapest Price

Hi All,

I would like to convert to contact lenses. I wore them a few years ago but would like to order over the internet. Is that possible?

I have a prescription from my eye test which is for a pair of glasses. Is it possible to order contact lenses for the prescription.

Specsavers prices for a monthly (6 month) supply is almost £60.00 that's without my prescription added ontop I assume.

Let me know please.

Thanks.

    Basically, no.

You need a contact lens prescription not a glasses one. It does make a difference! Get your contact lens test at a high street optician and then order on the internet from a reputable supplier using your optician's name and address when asked for the prescription details (but make sure you know what your own prescription is as you'll need to order it online before they check with the optician eg. +2.0)

Also make sure you've discussed your options, whatever you wore a few years ago may have now been upgraded to daily lenses or even 30 day lenses which you wear even in your sleep for a month.

The prescription will last for 2 years and you can order coloured lenses etc online. Just be aware you will need a retest in 2 years and that contact lenses and glasses prescriptions are different.
