  • Thanks every one. I have contacted several dog food manufacturers James Wellbeloved and Arden Grange are a few that springs to mind. They are going to send me some free samples, so I can see which food might be bets for her. I had a very long and detailed email from Arden Grange which was very helpful. I will buy some Persil non bio this weekend and start from there, along with the food hopefully it will make a big difference in her skin.

Even if you get the non bio version, Persil is still an extremely strong chemical overloaded washing powder compared to the eco alternatives and especially strong scented for an animal.

Ecover or even Surcare (?) are both readily available in supermarkets and I think Asda even had an own brand eco powder but not bought that for a long time. Probably cheaper than a main branded conventional one too!
