            Yes, I've also had a poor experience.
 I 'phoned them last Sunday, with enquiries about getting a buy-to-let mortgage on my current home, and a standard residential mortgage on a new purchase... I spent a frustrating 25 mins or so trying to get the guy who'd answered the phone to understand what I wanted. He put me on hold a couple of times, and eventually admitted that he didn't know about BTL, and told me he'd get a colleague to call me back. No-one called me back that day or the next.
 On Tuesday someone called, and since I was busy, arranged to 'phone me back at an arranged time on Wednesday. But he didn't keep the appointment.
 If L&C ever do get round to contacting me again, I shan't be using them.0
