Good reliable cheap courier for whole UK, Europe and ROW.

Hi,

Can someone help me find a good reliable cheap courier that if efficient for the whole UK, Europe and Rest of the World?
I wouldn't mind using 3 for the 3 different areas, but I wanted to work with someone that can deliver my goods for a decent price.
Thank you.

Reliable and cheap - the latter makes the former less likely, and vice versa. It will all hinge on the quantities you're shifting and their value. If you're moving 80 small packages a day it'll be an entirely different answer for someone shifting one pallet a fortnight. This may be why you're not overwhelmed with suggestions!

I think this is too much of a specialised question for people on here to be able to answer it. You need to work it out for yourself.

This is how I would go about it -
Google 'cheap couriers', and choose 3-4 of them - maybe a local firm, a national firm, a multi-national that you've heard of (they're successful for a reason) and a wild card. Ask them to quote for whatever it is you normally send, for 3 different destinations (one in the UK, one in Europe, one in your most popular ROW destination). Make your choice based on a) the cost b) the speed/efficiency of their response to your query and c) your subjective 'feel' for what they would be like to do business with.

You may get it wrong, in which case you try the next best - or you may get it right and this is the start of a long and fruitful business relationship. Be aware that a courier that is good for mainland UK may refuse to go to (for example) the Scottish Islands. A courier that is cheap for the US may be expensive for places that are off the beaten track. Depending on how much stuff you are moving around, you might be better just finding the best courier for that particular consignment, to that particular destination, on that particular day.

No specific suggestions - (in my previous job I used DHL a lot and always found them helpful though) but make sure you don't go anywhere NEAR Hermes. I've had nothing but troubles with them, so much so that I'd be embarrassed to work for them.

Good luck, and best wishes! x

    Try ..

https://www.clickandsendparcel.com. ... They use UPS and collect from your house or office

    or

https://www.collectplus.co.uk. ... You deliver the parcel to one of the local collection points, which are local shops. Good, but there is a maximum size for the parcels they will handle.

I use both and both are good

We really need more info from the OP on sizes, weights and numbers of parcels being sent. The same company will charge very different rates for someone sending out the occasional parcel than for someone sending dozens a day.
