Glitch on Yogurts and butter at Mr T

Options
Taken with great thanks from
10 ways to have more money as a student, without working on facebook

I can't believe it's not butter & Danone Oykos yoghurts scanning incorrectly in both Normal, Metro and Extra stores (probably all stores).

Buy in multiples of 4's. Should work with just the yoghurts or just the ICBINB's (in theory).

Example:
4 x ICBINB & 4 x Oykos = £15.96 - £7.98 - £1.80 - £2.19 = £3.99 paid.

Example 2:
Bought 20 x ICBINB and 8 x Oykos
total before discounts: £53.52
dairy products bogof : - £26.76
Spreads bogof: - £9.00
Oykos bogof: - £4.38
Total Savings: -£40.14
To pay £13.38
Seems that two discounts are taken have not tried myself yet but on my way ....:j

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

You'll be charged the prices above when you collect your stuff, thats what happened to many others today...nobody got the online price everybody was charged as the OP posted.

So by my reckoning you will be paying in the region of £45 for this lot... best to go into store and get what you can afford without the collection charge!

Of course prices could change tomorrow anyway up or down but I would certainly not be risking it myself because tomorrow your payment card will be charged...:eek::eek:

  • I updated my online order for delivery tomorrow,
added 8 butters and 12 packs of yoghurt and it reduced my bill by £1.40 !

    I hope they honour it!

ohhhhhhhhhhhh, just read the update ! best to remove the items from my order i guess!

This is what's been happening today but it's anybody's guess what will happen tomorrow... just wanted to say as I don't want someone seriously out of pocket.

Mr T would refund in a few days anyway and you don't have to pick the order up but you would have that money gone for a while and could be inconvenient. If the earlier poster was charged at today's prices it would be £45, if the price was correct tomorrow it would be £90, either way too much for me to risk!

But as I said, who knows what will happen tomorrow anyway!

    Order at your own risk!

If you've got the money in your account to 'risk' & you can't go in store today then it's worth a shot. Worst case you will get a refund, best case a load of cheap butter & yoghurts.
