dla payments

Hello
So im confused dla have only paid me half of what they usually
So I rung dla and they say they pay u so much in arrears
So I got half is this true

I also got rewarded today so how will my payments work out
Will the first payment be the same or less or.more
God this is confusing

I always thought that DLA is paid 2 weeks in arrears and 2 weeks in advance.

Have you just been awarded it, or has it just been renewed?

Renewd...but I still don't understand what it means
My last payment was today
But then got my decision today to say my payments will staRT from
20/03/2013

does your old claim end on 20th march?

they pay 2 weeks in arrears abd 2 weeks in advance. the payment you received today could be bringing the pld claim to an end ready for the new one to start next wee.

No it's stayed the same
It runs out on 19 th so wat does 2 week's in arrears and in advance mean

If you get paid on the 15th of the month, the money you get will be for the whole of that month, so the two weeks previous (arrears) and the two weeks still remaining in the month (advance).

Is your payment half of what you usually get?

Yeah it was half

So will I get a normal payment or more or less

I am assuming that that is the end of your claim and a new one has been opened. You next payment should be a normal one. Does your paperwork say when they might make a payment.

If you have any queries why not ring the DLA enquiry line? I have always found them to be very helpful.

Hiya iv found out im going to get paid 10th of April
Which is from the 20th of this month he couldn't see how much it was going to for though
