It is very hard to know exactly the severity of the damp and leaks here. You could be describing something which indicates an absolute shambles of a design or just a normal summer house which gets the odd leak out of season. My comments have been based on the latter description but without seeing it none of us can actually know the severity of the problem.

The odd leak out of season? After 5 months? That should be in his advertising! He'd never sell a thing...

Perhaps you would be able to reject it due to the new information coming to light, thus proving it was never fit for purpose as-is?

Not sure whether or not it'd be possible, as they'd probably still have the right to repair, replace or refund, but it could be argued perhaps that the repairs would change the original structure too much to the point where had it been sold with those features you wouldn't have purchased it.
Are the people you purchased the summer house from also the manufacturer?

I dunno. I have a plain old wooden shed, and it's bone dry inside. Only issue we had was leaky windows. Noticed it straight away and sealed the windows in with silicone. Problem solved, perfectly dry since. :)
If you leave a proper brick built house unheated for 3 months in a wet winter, it will quite often suffer from damp.

Yes its understandable it would be cold and possibly damp but I would hope it wouldn't actually leak in many places and be wet in different places.

Can you possibly link to the product?

They do have a website however even though I not pleased about my purchase I don't feel it would be fair or even allowed to name and shame them on here. Besides the website is very basic and doesn't show the actual product and also the email address and the mobile numbers are incorrect!
