Need advice for 3w USA trip

Probably a bit late and too close to my leaving date but asking anyway. Flying out on friday am and leaving for london on thursday evening.

Going on a 3w USA trip, all booked in last week or so. Couldnt plan before as an embassy had my wifes passport for about 2 months and we werent sure if we could make the holiday and hence didnt book anything. But we can make the trip so making last minute bookings.

All flights and hotels booked except for grand canyon leg. Two of us and our 4y child going on a hectic trip.

Mainly need advice on what sim card to buy to cover the areas that i plan on visiting. Prefer something with an unlimited data plan and preferably one that allows tethering to use our tablets for surfing for info about sight seeing and online check in etc. I plan on using my UK purchased mobile there so would prefer networks that are compatible with UK phones. I gather they have some networks that arent compatible with UK phones. I mainly need the data and some minutes for emergencies.

I just read another thread about a NYC travel card or something like that. I havent bought it but guess dont have time anyway to get it delivered by mail. Is it something that i can buy online and print the ticket?

Places i am visiting and any tip appreciated are as below

washington 2.5 days planning on taking the open top bus tours if weather allows

new york 4 days. planning on bus tours and night tour and main sights. will take the ferry / statue of liberty cruise and if possible a show. will try to read the NYC and other relavant threads here time permitting.

dallas 4 days visiting relatives + see places around

austin 4 days visiting relatives + places around. might try sea world at san antonio.

las vegas + grand canyon 3 days. havent booked the grand canyon tour but am thinking of the helicopter tour to save time. one of my colleagues recently did the helicopter tour and recommended it. hotels already booked for 3 nights on the strip at las vegas, so grand canyon would be a day trip.

then to LA enroute to anahiem, california for 2 days at disney

then back to LA for heading back to the UK. dont think we have much time to see LA. its the nearest airport to disney california.

Am a bit late asking but hope i can get suggestions for the sim card atleast as to which company to go to and what docs they need to buy prepaid sim card for the duration of our trip. Never been to the USA before.
