Not if the points are worth more than the total you have spent.
For example I had a Till spit for 150 points on Cat food - I don't have a cat!(worth £6 in Deals). I bought the cat food and used some other mocs, total spend was less than a £1, but I gained £1.50 in Clubcard points or £6 in Deals. This is worth doing for me as I am saving Clubcard points to spend on a Holiday/Honeymoon with Virgin Holidays
Oh, I gave the cat food to my Mums cat

agree with you Zippy and I do the same thing. Today, I had a mailing for dog food - the food will be donated to a local shelter but the moc can be used against my shopping £1.98 off.
So with my previous vouchers when I convert them = £650 and todays vouchers which came to £185 or £740 when converted means I now have £1,390 towards our family holiday in 2008.
I had set myself a goal of getting to £1230 for this quarter so I am £160 over that and very pleased. It looks like our family holiday is going to be a realistic and achieveable target.

I'd agree there - for a few quid, yes, but to spend £300 (less moc, granted) on stuff that you wont use, or will end up giving away, just seems, like I said, a false economy.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Hello lynzpower, we have had our wrists slapped before on here for offering vouchers and although it is a very kind gesture the swapping of personal details via PM is not permitted on MSE.
Have you thought of swapping them on paidtoshop as well as being a fab site with lots of useful information there is a swapping section. You may be able to swap these for something you could use.

it hasn't been a waste for me,i have 4 young children and there are lots of baths had a week, and i love johnsons!,also i buy lots of papers to get the vouchers out of them, ialways split my shopping into 3 seperate shops, and hand in 10 coupons (our tesco let me hand in a max of 10 different coupons)on each shop ,which vary, but normally £7 or £8 in value,so buy johnsons, get points ,this way i make my money go further,i don't work ,don't have credit cards, debt, live of my partners wage and it works very well for us,i wouldn't buy things i wasn't going to use,we couldn't afford a luxury all inclusive holiday if i didn't use tesco clubcard, yes i could put money away for a holiday but this way we end up bathing in johnsons for a while, hope this explains my madness,i did manage to get £83.50 clubcard points on my card, and £41 on my partners equating to £498 this quarter ,and i am pleased with that,it helps greatly towards a holiday in 2008 or 2009,i recently spent£35 on vouchers on e.bay, and received £163.20 in MOC,that is £128.20 profit spread over the next few months, and my children are eating pic a pac at the moment because they are £1.06 a packet with £1.60 in voucher on them0 -
So how do the clubcard deals work? I was interested in the Virgin Holidays New York holiday...but doesn't say how much I need....very confused!0
