Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of somewhere I can get a brand new ipod touch for a reasonable price?
My DS would love one for his birthday, but they are so expensive, I just wondered where is best?
Many thanks

The prices will be much of muchness as Apple set the prices for the majority of there goods with not much room to discount.
Always buy from a reputable dealer/retailer. Amazon have them for £132.99 at the moment, for 16gb, 4th gen, which is the second newest model. It will be the cheapest though as the newest models only come in bigger memories which will cost more. HTH xThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
The apple website do refurbs all grade A and have a warranty. To see whats available go to the apple website then store and on the left close to the bottom will be the refurb section. Best advice check it often as the availabilty changes daily. Hope this helps im sure I seen a 64gb 4th gen with £100 off yesterday.0

Apple prices are pretty much set in stone. Sorry but you will never find a current model at a discount that will get you excited.0

You may be able to buy a new one from Very with a new customer discount voucher (£25-30 off usually). But that's about it.0

check out student computers for decent refurbs (don't have to be a student). I've had two and been very pleased.0

Does it have to be brand new? I've just sold my 32gb 4th gen ipod touch for £77 on eBay. Had only used it a couple of times as I just didn't like the ipod way of listening to music:o, so it was a bargain for the buyer. There are loads going 2nd hand on eBay and in the Cash Converter type places.0

As others have said, the cheapest options would be to either go for a refurb, try and get hold of an older model, or to get one second hand. You could try somewhere like Computer Exchange for second-hand iPods - at least then you'd be able to see it before you bought it, and it would probably come with some sort of warranty, whereas with eBay you're taking a gamble on scratches etc.0
