:j2 families of 4 going on holiday sometime in August, not bothered about where just as long as next to sea and the sea is warm, with a pool and within walking distance of a couple of restaurants. Fly either from Leeds or Newcastle. Other family keen on a villa. Have found cheap flights to Ibiza but don't know where it is best to look for accommodation away from clubbers. Also found a villa in menorca for 1600 is that a good price? Any advice would be most welcome since I seem to have been lumbered with the chore of finding the best solution

Santa Eulalia,Ibiza is a lovely resort for families with lots of restaurants. Stayed there with my family about 7 years ago. Have spent the last 5 years holidays in Puerto San Miguel,Ibiza. We stay at the all inclusive San Miguel Hotel which can be booked with Thomson or First Choice or on booking.com (Its called Club Hotel Cartago on this site though). I always book direct with hotel. Its a small pretty resort with only a few bars and restaurants. Hotel is adjacent to beach. Food is good and animation team are great (not that I participate in anything!).0

Sorry. Read your post without looking at the title properly. I know you mentioned a villa in the post but looking at the title its obviously a villa you are after not a hotel.
Can still reccomend Santa Eulalia as a nice area to stay but Puerto San Miguel would be no use to you.0 -
I look after several rental properties on the south Costa Blanca and have the following villa (link below) which is suitable for 8 people. It has a private pool and only 350m to the beach plus well located to Murcia and Alicante Airports!

You are not meant to promote your own business on here (as you agreed in the terms and conditions.0 -
Mallorca - Puerto Pollensa - book flights direct and rent private villa(s). Either rent a car (possibly expensive) or use ResortHoppa or similar to get from/back to airport.0

Have a look at Owners Direct for a villa, we've used then 4 times for 2 different villas and had no problems. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0

We have rented villas all over the world, but to be of any help you would need to narrow it down to a country. We have used VRBO, Owners Direct and Holiday lettings. Make sure you pay by credit card to maximise protection.0

Owners direct have an insurance which covers you if the villa is wrongly advertised (ie advertised when it shouldn't be). We have taken this out for the one we are going to this summer. Although I have done all I can to ensure it will be fine I thought it was worth the extra (think it is about £30) for peace of mind.
Also if going via an owner rather than a rental agency you may find they can't take credit cards. So don't panic if this is the case.0
