No credit card only vanquish credit card why?

I have never had a credit card before or any thing on credit and pay all my bills on time and do not use direct debit but the only credit card i could get is a vanquish credit card why is this are there any other cards i can get,

Even though you have no bad credit on your file as you havent had any credit before lenders tend to be very careful as you have no record of good payments , capital one have a card you should be able to get and barclays have one too you might want to try , then keep them running nice and try for a better card in 9-12 months

Have you got a bank account ? how long have you had it ? does your wages go into that account and is it run well ?

if they answers are yes and youve had it for at least a couple of years then try your bank as they will have records showing that you can run an account in the correct manner !!

If not then best bet is to use the vanquish card and make sure you keep it looking good and dont miss a payment , then in 9-12 months try for a Capital One or barclays

Apply for your credit file coz you'll never know whats lurking. There is so much identity fraud at the moment. The must be a reason why you aint getting credit.
