Changing supplier of electricity with feed in tariff

Please can anyone help. We have pv panels and receive a feed in tariff from e-on as well as buyinig our electricity from them. However we have used the Cheap Energy Club Website and seen that npower would save us £15 a month which would be really appreciated. BUT how do we manage the transfer as we need to receive the feed in rate. Can we still get that from e-on and buy our electricity elsewhere or do we have to go through a real palaver to change that too to npower?

Would be very grateful for some advice

I have moved my FiT from 1 supplier to another, most of the BIG companies expect you to take electricty from them as well as receiving your money. However it is worth checking wth each company, hope this helps, regards.

Incorrect. The suppliers that participate in FITs on a compulsory basis (which include all the Big Six) have to process your FIT's, whether you buy from them or not. So you can leave it with Eon.
Only the smaller suppliers who have discretionary participation can decline you for FITs once you cease to be a customer.

    Hi carolynw

Sorry for the late reply, just noticed your question.

As macman says, you're ok to change supplier now for your imported electricity and leave your FIT with us if you wish.

Sorry again for the late reply.
