SAYE - give an instruction - no action?

Ok I had notification that my 3yr scheme had matured and I gave the instruction to take shares at the option price to be sold straight away. The option price was £3.28, and the share price as at 12 March '13 is about £3.80. this means my £1800 invested gives a return of £2106 approx. It is 7 days since I gave the instruction and nothing has appeared in my account, and I have had no email to say that the shares have been sold, only an email from Equiniti ESP to say I have given an instruction to take shares to be sold straight away. I am concerned now in case the share price falls. When I sold SIP shares the system worked well, giving you 15 seconds to accept share price and then they sell them that instant. what has happened to my SAYE???

Is there an online option, sometimes you are able to trade out of SAYE with an account online (like with computershare).

Otherwise just phone them up you must have a phone number you can ring.

I have already done it online. The system using the portal had become more user friendly. u picked the number of SIP shares you wanted to sell and then it gives u 15sec to accept or decline the current share price. so u know exactly what return your getting. The sale goes through, and money is in your account in about 5 days. My SAYE is just hanging in the balance now, and don't know when they are going to decide to sell them

Share prices falling is always possible. I usually exercise SAYE and take the certificates, which means I can time selling myself (and do other tricks) but have to wait for postie to bring the certs, then wait for him to trudge off to take them to my broker, and it all takes time and makes postie surly.

yes, share price falling is an issue. but the online Equiniti ESP gives you the choice to accept the current price or decline it. This has not been the case with my SAYE savings though. It has just gone missing with no email to say that a sale has gone through or anything.

Or the share price could go up!

Dunno why there's the delay this time, but it's normally 3-6 weeks between me exercising SAYEs and selling the shares (often longer!) so I'm fairly chilled.
